I tried using xanthan in my shake once. It was delicious but the three hour long stomach ache was terrible. I am sure they would be just as good with out the xanathan…just not as creamy. Definitely going to try the almond fudge one this summer!
You could also add gelatine for the same thickening affect as xanathan but without the tummy side effects. The only thing is I think gelatin taste a little longer to work
Who carries a good brand of xanthan gum?
Broady you are WAY to smart!

Made the Raspberry Smoothie last night. Had every ingredient but the raspberry extract. Turned out great. Will make again for sure. Great flavor and great texture. Thanks!
